That's the one episode I haven't been able to listen to. The video was so traumatic as a young kid. Haunting.
Ooh, Casefile did a great podcast ep on this. Episode 306. (If you're not familiar, Casefile is the gold standard for true crime. It's not exploitative or voyeuristic. Just stories of notable crimes and their investigations, with plenty of awful police work and miscarriages of justice.)
Doug Rushkoff's Survival of the Richest paints a really fascinating picture of the tech billionaire mindset. Rushkoff has been writing about tech for like 50 years so he's able to explain the evolution from creative tech anarchist to fascist sociopath. "They seem to think they can design a car fast enough to outrun its own exhaust."
I thought I read years ago that airlines responded to Skiplagged by penalizing people who didn't complete every leg of the trip they booked. I'm not sure why they would care.
