The difference is no one expects the current climate to hold. No manufacturers are investing in new fabs because they expect this bubble to burst sooner than later.

Literally no different than going to someone's lawn they say is for public speech regardless and then getting arrested for inciting violence.
It's PUBLIC. If you want privacy then do it via your own means.
That and in your first example you're calling for professional help because you yourself are unable to help and that person can't help themselves.
For depression that person can get help themselves (though of course that can be difficult to get the nerve to see a therapist/doctor) and anyone else, again, is not really qualified to treat/help you. Hence the advice in the meme.
Like the person I responded to who thought needing an app to find a charging station was an improvement over just having them all over like gas stations.
Maemo/meego was better than all those IMO. It still half lives on in sailfish but had Nokia not been burned it could've been a true Goliath that could compete.
Meh. It's still mainly backed by Google in the end. I'd rather coalesce around mobile Linux. It's not ready yet but that's far preferable.

Bingo. It's been very interesting watching family members retire. You can get very good at seeing which ones will thrive and which won't. Some don't even really retire- they keep getting part time jobs, etc. because they never developed the hobbies that they could now lean into.
Agree on this. Feel fdroid could attach a unique ID to each package version and then insert and update that text file holding it every time. Kind of like a package lock (Python, nvm, etc.)
Export the file, import on new and it just fetches the necessary versions of apps.
I mean, edge is a viable option for enterprise. Works with gpos, etc. So easy to roll out and lockdown there.
I still think it's garbage like every chromium browser but that's its big sell.

I feel this. "Teslafication" took over the interiors and so, so many are SUVs in the states. Our obsession with them stinks for anyone just wanting a car.
