Huh. You're saying the ones mocking the idea of test tube babies were the eugenicists?

I've understood it as test tube babies being mocked because of the idea that someone is brewing up their own genetically modified baby, like a eugenicist's wet dream. Think GATTACA.

I'm not here to "discuss" anything about the article. As I said, I don't care enough about a game studio sinking their project with genAI to do research.

When I don't care about the topic, I skim the comments to see if there is any hidden merit to reading. While doing so, the comment resonated my initial feeling of pity, and I shared my perspective on specifically the quote and comment I just read.

Satisfied? Have I engaged with content in a way you'll allow now?

I was thinking the same but I have so many questions (that I don't care enough to research).

How big is their team? Could they not find any competent artists? Could they not afford any competent artists? Could they not afford to upskill any of their current team, like getting them lessons in whatever was relevant?

It seems like they were just shallow and wanted a "classically" pretty product right now. And that doesn't engender much sympathy.

Thank you! I have ad block for PC but am forced to use mobile for awhile and was dreading the incessant ads on mobile.

I guess it's not too great of a coincidence though; YouTube is always making the platform worse, so these recommendations are flying around pretty often.

I know the character and the game, but I don't get what this is supposed to convey as a comment.

And yet, if the US cares so much how come it doesn't take more comprehensive steps to prevent them?

It's only ever invasions of privacy to feed directly to law enforcement. And they won't even enter the building to confront active shooters.

Just tell one of them to push the time.

Well, driver's licenses are certifications that you know how to drive (and also are in a location). In theory, by using your license, you are practicing and reinforcing your driving skill. It's not really the same.

I have a squirrelly brain, prone to imagining how things go wrong. Immediately, I thought of parents guiding their children to get their medallion before the kids can really process what they're doing, or establish their own desire to do it. By the time they're 30, it'll just be something they unpack if they ever take therapy.

And I'm saying this as someone who eats meat. I'm not even a vegetarian. I just agree with vegans that the way industry batch-farms animals is grotesque.

Ah, it's more a "license" than a "token". Then, it should expire at the end of the year.

Plenty of people will continue to take things for granted, if it's not reinforced.

What's the meat allotment per Medallion? It sounds like abstracted hunting

Get absolutely stamina-mogged, Pheidippides. Should have constitution-maxxed if he wanted to survive
