Exactly. Zuck stole the original idea to Facebook. Then bought a ton of companies after that for innovation. He has no good ideas of his own, when he does think of stuff, they are wild big company pivots that fail.

You are correct. Which is why at this point you might as well go PC. Console games used to be playable without internet, just pop in and enjoy. I am not referencing the terrible experience it has become today (guess I am old). Nostalgia I suppose for an era that did already die.
The whole point of a console is ease, I pop in the disk, I play. If you take away that ease, it becomes just a locked down PC… why would you want that when you could just have a full PC?
And this will be me shifting to all PC gaming. If I must go digital only, I would rather give my money to Steam. Sony has proven itself not the most trustable with digital content (example the recent purge of movies people purchased)
I still buy nothing but physical PS5 games. They are often on sale/cheaper than the digital only version on the PS store.
I just want a freaking mute button for the mic. I don’t need a camera on my EARS.
