I switched all my daily use PCs to Linux in 2004 and haven’t looked back. I did have a Plex server running on Windows 10 for about a year but even that has moved to an unRAID server.
I think the company is less of an issue than the school who even considered this to start with.
And yet very few politicians are willing to stand up to big tech and say no.

I don’t think people care as much about the latest and greatest laptop as they do smartphones. That mindset about phones is also just as true with Android fanboys as it is Apple fanboys. Apple haters love to criticize when Apple does something like this but when the rest of the industry follows suit, they show us how much non-Apple users eat that shit up too.
That sounds like every piece of tech in existence. Every laptop manufacturer does the same. The difference with Framework is that you can upgrade parts of your existing model with some of the new hardware if you want. You don’t have to have the latest and greatest but if you like a certain aspect of it, you can upgrade that.

I didn’t see them say that FLAC wasn’t lossless. When I do see someone say that, they’re usually confusing lossless with uncompressed. FLAC and ALAC are lossless. No one can say otherwise. I have my entire library as uncompressed AIFF because o have the storage and I can always compress if needed.
