That makes sense. Software engineers have gone from being artists (because yes, software architecture is an art) to becoming AI managers. It's demoralising.

I believe open-source software will continue to provide a refuge for artists.

The important part:

So, we’ve eliminated DNS query fees entirely.

Bunny DNS no longer charges for DNS queries and includes free DNS hosting for up to 500 domains per account. There are no query limits, no per-request billing, and no critical features hidden behind enterprise plans. (Yes, that includes smart records and health monitoring too.)

As with all bunny.net services, accounts using the platform are subject to our standard $1/month minimum spend, but DNS itself no longer incurs any usage-based charges.

Basically it costs $1 per month. They no longer charge per requests, it's now unlimited.

Efforts to automate more US factories come as companies in East Asia have already charged ahead in establishing multiple “dark factory” sites—facilities featuring near-complete automation with a small human staff to provide oversight and troubleshooting.

AI is accelerating automation, to the point where you can automate all processes that don't require human involvement. This is why China is currently ahead of the US. They have been strategic and pragmatic in their use of AI instead of focusing solely on achieving AGI.

The US is catching up to China. This means that Trump's "dream" of bringing plants back to the U.S. to create jobs for Americans will not be realized because they will simply build these "dark factories."

Sigh. Because people can't think critically, they're easily brainwashed by these companies. After all, YOLO (you only live once). It's materialism at its finest. People are not content with what they have. They always want more to fill the void, but that void cannot be filled with material things.

I'm just ranting about the capitalist world of today.
