DOJ: "We'll say it for 100 million dollars."
If I am buying an "AI" game I'll pay a couple of bucks and no more as there are no labour costs involved. If I'm buying from a company that supports human beings, I'll pay about 50-100 bucks, depending on the game.
"We want to install a great big electronics facility that sucks up all the human drinking water!". Geez, I wonder why it's not more popular?
"Locks in"...if all of a sudden there was no demand you can be assured they would "lock out". Micron likes to put the boot to the throat when they have an advantage. Not someone I'd do business with.
I think the truth is more like "Older tech workers can no longer compete in an ageist world where youth and shininess rule".
I think it's more that users can't afford new hardware, even though win11 seems like a step backwards.
800ish more fancy tech "safety" features and even more death. Fuck the "we will protect you" bullshit. It's way cheaper if I protect myself, but that option doesn't exist. "Look! My car flashes and beeps when another car passes me on a city lane!". That's not assistance, that's a distraction.
"AI. Please turn up the lights" /s
I think they will completely drop AI in the next few months and go full in on wearable "tech" vests. /s
Even 'lil donnie (The Greatest Conqueror of the Ages) can't escape his clearing at the end of his path.
Lots and lots of hours for people who didn't even know they were working for the "AI" companies?
