I think for non-tech users, this is definitely a hack. It's like script kiddies level damage, except using AI.

From someone who has the OP15. It's a great device if you like to tinker and install degoogled version. Even using lineage or other roms with gapps, we have wallet working with full play certification. And the dev community is active around it. So I still recommend it. Just note the camera is acceptable for the tier, just not great. The battery/performance on the other hand is fantastic.

This is a big issue that the fairphone doesn't have its dtb open yet. It's not easy to build ROM for it. Despite their core claim of sustainability, without addressing the blobs, it remains just a tad more convenient for green minded people. We need a full Fairphone.
