I've learnt to move on from things very quickly now. For example I see a news article that interests me and click on it. I have 'accept cookies' or 'reject and pay'. Immediately I close it and manage to completely forget I even read the headline.

If you're going to be paying for a music streaming service, you may as well go for YT premium as you get other things for barely any extra cost. Otherwise I don't see the value.
I'm in the process of going local and replacing YT music though.

No different to mobile phones or iPods or PlayStations. Pair of meta raybans are arguably cheaper than those items now due to inflation.
