This. My friend in HS went to guidance multiple times to complain about being bullied by another classmate. After the 2nd or 3rd time requesting thy switch his class, they decided to resolve the issue by forcing them to be partners for an assignment in class. He complained again, and was told to deal with it. One day my friend finally cracked and broke the bully's nose because he had enough and clearly the school was only willing to make this worse, so they called the police on my friend. It's pretty insane how some things get dealt with sometimes.

U got any good alternatives to recommend? I was given a ring camera as a house warming gift, one of the nice flood light cam ones. Want to get away from ring but also don't want to buy more crap LOL but I want to add a camera to the rear of my house and refuse to have ring recording me on my patio nor do I want to up my subscription. Keep migrating toward self hosting my camera system as the best solution but fuck I also don't have the time to go setting that up right now ... Rambling here but in search of good advice πŸ™

This is exactly why I just keep buying the cheapest Motorola on the market. Battery that lasts 3 days, quick charge on USB c and a aux port. Reliable, works every time, and if I loose it only only out a couple hundred bux. Just wish graphene os was on it, but supposedly that might be in the works. Here's to hoping it's out before I need a new phone!

Ur right every uz V8 has a belt ! The 1uz could snap a belt and live, but 2uz or newer were interference engines so a snapped belt cost u the engine.

Programs like cash for clunkers also helped end cheap wheels for a whole generation. Lots of good motors were locked up intentionally :c

I would love a tick box setup. Maybe 2 Linux distro options and a windows option for +$X or whatever so ur laptop can arrive ready to set up with the OS desired on it. Should lower cost for customers who don't need windows, and maybe people on the fence will decide window isn't worth however much more it cost to get and order the Linux version. The more units are sold with Linux the more incentive there will be to sort drivers for more hardware etc.

I've accidentally come across ai instrumental beats a few times. They always lack any sort of soul, I suppose adequate for some background noise but tends to be quite repetitive vs say nightmares on wax or bonobo. I can't imagine they do well in any other genres, I feel like instrumental should be one of the easier music genres for ai to try to "create"

This is dependent on how you order. If your buying from overseas and importing you have to pay tarrifs (most of the time, some sellers offer to sort that for you and reflect it in pricing). I have ordered many a part from the UK, India, Australia and japan. All out of country sellers required I deal with customs, except for the stuff from Australia that states they would cover the exporting for me! But yes if you bought from a us based retailer, the retailer imported and already paid the tarrifs for you. But wait, I didn't pay the tarrifs! I paid DHL to deal with the tarrifs for me so DHL actually is who gets a refund not me. Suppose I'll just go fuck myself.

Don't forget that in a lot of the USA public transport simply doesn't work. For example in my state the only town u can get around in reasonably in is the big city, and even then your isolated to that city. In my town, (second biggest city in the state with a population smaller than the "small town" in mass I moved from, where everybody said I lived in the "sticks") there is a small bus network that can get u around town and to the next town, but not enough of a network to make it feasible to commute to work unless u live and work in the same town and are willing to hoof it through snow. Rural areas and public transport simply don't work, there are some places where private transport simply is the only solution. Now the cities getting planned around cars is another story, but every city I have been in in New England has been a nightmare to traverse in a car and a breeze via public transport so YMMV

I actually very recently tried New Girl. Forced myself to finish the first episode, is the pilot that bad? Does it get better? May just not be my cup of tea I suppose but I have a hard time forcing an hour of media consumption before I get hooked lol who has that kind of spare time these days.
