Steam works on Linux BTW. Actually a lot of my games run better on Linux than windows

I've enjoyed mint the last month or so. My previous dabbles with Linux were much more command line necessary than it is now. And on the rare occasion I need to, there's usually good info out there to read.

You can also just search game name + distro name. Highly recommend looking at the newest results possible because A LOT of games now work on Linux thanks to steam and proton

I switched recently because they fucked me in a way I couldn't deal with. To be fair, I've been experimenting with Linux on and off for 10+ years. But this was my kick to fully transition. Microsoft no longer serves convenience.

I mean the most recent update took out my one drive and every file that I've removed from it that they sneaky shoved back in it... All my files gone. Thankfully I had just done a back up the week before. I was so mad I just installed mint and said fuck all this shit.

I had no idea how easy gaming had got since my last attempt with Linux. That was until the most recent Microsoft bugs erased all my files... I was so enraged I didn't even try to recover them, I just installed linux mint. Found out I could indeed play the couple games I've been holding on to windows for. Haven't booted windows since.

The US does have this law. It's just not enacted yet because there's so much they're demanding in the law and automakers say it's not possible. But it doesn't force someone who doesn't drive to drive.

But in seriousness we should be having conversations with kids. We shouldn't be handing them a tablet or phone at 2 years old. We obviously can't control kids, they have their own decisions to make but, we shouldn't be shoving the internet down their throats the first day they're born then being shocked they spend all their time on the internet.

I had issues with the live boot having 3 monitors. I just unplugged 2 and installed, grabbed the suggested driver, no issues since.
