Unfortunately, Trump's walls don't contain pollution, and industries use that local lack of regulation to lobby other governments, as in, "look, we can do that in the US, why can't we do it here?"

He's also decimated environmental regulation...so, definitely not a huge favour.
Digital devices will always be a potential distraction, even with just simple calling and messaging. What amazes me most though, is how far we'll stretch to avoid regulating the actual actors causing the most harm (social media).
