This is pretty outdated. The best care for a battery is try to keep it at 50%. The absolute best way to use a battery would be keep it between 49-51%, which is obviously impossible, so people say keep between 20-80, the closer you get to extremes, the more damage it does to the battery (with fully dead being by far the worse)

Knowing fully charged and completely dead is easy. Knowing when the battery is 52% charged vs 53% charged is just an estimate.
Then maybe just ask a question like a normal person?
What they are saying is whether you decide to show battery % all the time or not, you can still see the number if you swipe down.

I’m just under the impression that if you used Linux, you’d be used to tweaking and configuring things to your liking. Which it seems like you didn’t attempt to do with macOS.
