Look, at least this way I don't have to worry about all the software back doors phoning home.
I just don't take the phone out with me when I think I'm going to be arrested or something.

This is so devastating to hear about. I feel for these companies, a loss like this hits so hard and can be so, so hard to recover from.
Microsoft deserves all of the shitty PR for this shit.
This should also be a gentle lesson about not leaving all of your eggs in one basket, especially if it's a free product.
And like that, I have a new path for a phone. Thanks, friend.
