Moonshine is about to make a glorious comeback

This is all part of the puritanical shift that’s happening in some Gen Z circles, this post can’t be talking about millennials. I saw an article a few months ago that stated millennials were the drunkest generation and that while Gen Z as a whole drink less there has been a strong uptick in their consumption recently. Can’t imagine why they might have started drinking more, well besides you know the everything happening in the world

My mother is unshakable southern Baptist and deeply narcissistic woman born in Alabama and raised in Florida, the moment I see the shadow of emotional manipulation in any relationship, especially if it’s at work or somewhere I can’t just walk away from, I turn into fucking Blade:

“You obviously do not know, who you are FUCKING WITH”

What part of warehouse workers get treated well did you miss?

[–] cmbabul@slrpnk.net 1 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago) (16 children)

Nope! Costcos business model is masquerade as a benevolent company that cares about its workers and treats customers fairly so they can sell more memberships while treating all the non public facing workers like cattle and giving a maximum of 2% annual raises to only the most sycophantic employees.

It’s all bullshit, just because the warehouse workers are paid and treated better at Costco than Amazon or Walmart does not make them one of the good guys.

Shit one of their largest shareholders is Blackrock.

Edit: y'all ain’t gotta believe me, just proves their propaganda is working. I’ve worked at Costco HQ in the past. IT gets treated like absolute shit, worse than anywhere else I’ve ever done that sort of work, and the entire department agreed when I was there, but their skill sets are all Costco centric so they can’t seem to find anywhere else their skills map to. A manager tried to take their own life IN THE OFFICE recently according to one of my close friends that’s still there, apparently due to burnout and the disappearance of upward mobility, which is why I fucking left

Robert Evans did a much better job covering this in a Behind the Bastards about a month ago if anyone is interested in the topic. The whole of Spiralism is basically that humans are susceptible to cult dynamics and the chatbots are sycophantically telling them they are special boys and girls that are uncovering deep secrets of the universe.

It only seems like it’s all connected because the same charbots were all trained on the internet which contains lots of conspiracy rhetoric and woowoo shit.

Which does piss me off, BUT the world would be better if we took Meta, Reddit, Twitter, and all the other social media giants and gave them the Ole Yeller treatment
