At first I wasn't sure if they were suing the (now) dead guy from https://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2026/07/lawsuit-grok-user-made-7k-child-sex-images-xai-only-reported-one-gang-rape-prompt/ but I think that one was in Wyoming per the legal docs. Grok has certainly been busy generating CSAM.

There are definitely brands I stopped buying due to shrinkflation. A few times I've seen shrinkflated items on sale later and then do the math just to realize the price is still too stupid to buy even at sale price.
I have that bundled for free with a different service and can't even use it, they are one of the few streaming services that go out of their way to block Linux users.
On the upside at least they let me know it's unusable when free so there's no reason to ever pay for it.
