I wonder if that dazzle camo used by manufacturers for testing prototype cars would work. I wouldn't mind getting something like that on my car

There's actually a setting you can enable if you want Apple to not hold your iCloud keys. A necessary side effect is that you can't recover access through Apple so you'll have to set up another form of account recovery.

I don't think you have any idea how much the power consumption is unfortunately. The roof would cover maybe 1-10% of the power consumption of a modern data center. A single rack's power consumption is basically the same as a neighborhood. An entire data center is more like a small country.

To be clear I'm not trying to say it's OK they're using gas plants, I'm just saying why the solar power Musk promised was never going to be feasible.

Edit: My bad, this is a fab, I thought it was yet another XAI datacenter. Might be more feasible, but still - for energy intensive purposes, which this is likely to be, on-site solar can offset part of the energy requirement, but generally not all of it.

The French know exactly how to make a car last 10 years and start breaking down after that unfortunately.

I honestly don't know what would be a good replacement if you do need to get rid of it though. That type of van is a market dominated by the French to the point that "Berlingo" is almost a universal term for them IMO.

Sodium is just what those weirdos call Naatrium.

Oh it has significantly more sensors than that, trust me.

As for the seatbelt sensor, honestly depends on the cost and how long you plan on keeping it. Without knowing your car, I can't say for sure, but I suspect it's a simple switch. The issue may very well also be in the wiring, or the switch could've broken loose or something (in which case you'd likely need the belt buckle receptacle thingy).

Personally I'm so annoyed by things like that, I'd fix it. It probably annoys you, and if you do end up selling it rather than keeping it, it'll annoy the buyer.

I've never heard of it in any context other than illegal shit.

Oh mine's kinda the opposite. First word was "Thank you" (or "aitäh" actually)

Of course "thank you" is said when giving or receiving as well as when asking for something. And there was one time the smartass decided to say "thank you" and jump towards me from the couch.

Uh solar panels cost a bunch of money to make and they take a ton of space, which means buying extra land

Who gets to decide the exact profit margin all companies must stick to?
