The model itself is structurally very similar to LLMs. It's just that the tokens aren't words.
It's a actually fairly similar to LLMs architecturally. Tokens go in, pretrained transformers do black box magic, tokens come out.
Advancements in one may very well carry over to the other so maybe there'll be an alphafold 4 one day but for now universities have access to 3 and can run it if they have the compute.
I'm pretty sure they buy those books by the pound (or tonne), ain't nobody giving them rare copies of culturally significant books to destroy lol

Aren't they legally mandated to do that when they scan books? That way the amount of copies doesn't go up technically.
Also unfortunately it's easier to scan without the bindings.

Not sure how DDNS would work with CGNAT since multiple users would be sharing one public IP address.

That's not the hard bit tbh, you don't need a humanoid robot, you need specialized robots for different tasks.
The real issue is that 1) machines are still more expensive than humans and 2) the AI you're talking about is language models, it knows nothing about building except what it can read in the books. We'd need to train entirely different AI models to handle construction, and they'd ideally need to gather data first by building actual buildings.
