Let’s hope we can flog them if they don’t obey as well then :) And cut a bunch of hands when catching something stealing some bread out of the bin. And beheadings all those dudes looking vaguely gay or too secular.

Maybe the next Sims won’t fuck anymore? Or the women won’t get to be as extravagant as in previous versions ?

But so many prerequisites for effective AI implementations are relying on improving quality of inputs / training materials and that is an OPEX siphon.

one of the first use case of augmented reality glasses was medical right after military. There are some positive applications for « smart » glasses. Not those from meta obviously but as with all tools there are good and bad applications and only the siths should deal in absolutes.

I'm not sure how to position myself when a court orders a company to adapt their software in such specific ways. At the very least that should be a matter of a legislation with a broader analysis and considerations applied to the whole sector. Plus, maybe, consider parenting in the picture... Teenagers should maybe not be looking a notifications during the night.

Hold on a minute… the field of AI and in general algorithms and models is quite old. LLM is relatively new in there. For science and healthcare we’ve been using specialist ai for a long while for things like image processing, sequencing and what’s not. Those are absolutely monitored have have generally high standards because they are healthcare related already. Don’t mix those things.
