Propaganda arm? All I could find was that they were contracted for a Gates Foundation video in 2015 and got a big grant from the foundation around that time.

The piece of paper that companies keep demanding you have, despite their AI black box always filtering you out for hyper specific and arbitrary reasons?

The real answer is they're probably just lazy, but I wouldn't blame anyone who doesn't really value the work that goes into their degrees and diplomas anymore (not that I'm against post-secondary education, though)

They're making Gemini, it's obvious that they wouldn't even know quality if they saw it!

Well, when mangaka are notorious for getting crunched to hell and back it unfortunately makes a lot of sense... I'd rather the industry itself change for the better than force them toward AI though.

I think the Linux thing is pretty common in this area, actually... For example, a lot of Hiby's cheaper players that aren't on Android also use plain Linux 4.4 under the hood, I believe

Hey now, don't threaten me with a good time!

They aren't closed ecosystems to the extent that consoles are. PC gaming isn't just Steam, and you're generally free to do what you'd like with the files once they're on your computer.

You can chase sales, modify and fix games, play online without a subscription, use your preferred controller, buy DRM free (or bypass DRM if you so choose), share and revive old games, etc.

I doubt I've covered everything, and (respectfully) I'm genuinely surprised that so many people still ask this question.

I'm making a note here: huge success!

Instructions unclear, now someone's hosting an execution-themed costume party downtown while blasting Childish Gambino Bonfire mashups

Yes, but then they would still be left with Windows

I'm going off memory here, but I think this was an issue way back with some phones having DAC hardware built in, and others skipping that hardware in exchange for requiring dongles that included such?

Maybe you just need to find a new dongle? Hopefully that helps and sorry if it doesn't, but I'd rather just have a headphone jack back and skip all the complications...
