I literally download shows/movies every week. There are no captchas or finding the correct button. Its incredibly easy to do and the software we have for it is great and easy to use and setup. I literally search for my show see a list of options and click download then watch on my TV. No ads or pay walls. Go checkout the arr stack its free open source software and easy to use.

The internet is vast and there are still great options for us.

That all exists still, the problem is everyone spends all of their time on like two or three social medias that are the worst the internet has to offer.

Yup they just aren't willing to allow a show to take time to establish themselves, many people won't discover a show until its a few seasons in or even finished yet they can't stand it if a show doesn't get lots of views in season one.

Yup I've decide I won't watch a show that isn't finished at this point. I've fallen in love with too many just to watch them get canceled.

The OA was so good and they fucking canceled it, I'll never subscribe to their service ever again for that.

I'm in a similar situation, my entire team of 6 was laid off except for me. Now I'm on a team of 3 with an AI and expect to do more now than before. I've told them numerous times the AI has only slowed us down due to the numerous mistakes it makes but they don't like hearing things that make them question their "brilliant" decision making abilities.

I've decided to in a way to quiet quit and literally let the AI do everything like they wanted. I know its making tons of mistakes but I simply don't care anymore. Things will go to shit and deadlines will be missed I'll blame the AI and tell them I was told numerous times its great and to use it. I'll probably still get fired but then they will lose the last person who understands all of the projects my team had worked on for years. I'll be fine but I can't say the same about them.

They always have to be the special little snowflakes that they are, so scared of science and logic.

I mean Mamdani asked people to set their AC to 78 to help the situation and he was called an evil commie for doing so.

I think both are right, they do get what those temperatures are like and is why they mentioned AC. However what they don't understand is that if its that bad for Europe imagine how much worse it will be for places like Texas.

I hear that the US as a whole is going to be experiencing rolling blackouts and about 60million people will be affected. I doubt Texas will fare well during that time.

The power grid operators have been warning they can't keep up with the demand data centers and rising temperatures are creating. But when have we ever listened to experts so of course we haven't done anything to help the situation.

They do it because they themselves treat people differently based on if they are a part of the in group or not and don't want anyone mistaken them for the out group.
