Did anybody click the link to read the paragraph-long website text? Not only is it packed with assumptions about AI, it's simply unhinged.
The ability to... run intelligence systems without asking permission is of existential importance.
Existential?! No it's not.
This mirrors the delusion Sam Altman demonstrated when he insisted nobody could raise a child without AI.
A GMC Hummer EV taillight costs an eye-watering $6,100 to replace, plus labor. The idea of having to replace one of Audi’s new adaptive Matrix LED headlight setups is something most people probably don’t want to stomach.
Audi made these adaptive light strips to fix the artificial problem of newer headlights being too bright compared to older ones.
Microsoft had no reason to trust Anthropic to be private to begin with. And this complaint is mighty rich coming from them.
Hard to see this as anything except some kind of PR stunts on both sides. Anthropic is collecting data to act "responsible," Microsoft is throwing a stink while they're already in bed with OpenAI.
[Data is stored] at least 30 days. There is an "almost" that is doing a ton of heavy lifting here "deletion after 30 days in almost all cases". My read of that is they can hang onto data for as long as they want, even if they usually won't. And "all traffic" with an agentic harness is basically your entire codebase you work on.
Maybe it's preaching to the crowd too much there. Their Facebook campaigns targeted every site of the political spectrum.
Their models may also be based on US models.
It'll be hard for derivative models to innovate if their host organism has died.

This is a creepy statement. Human life is not equatable to a billionaire's toy, and it is dangerously immoral to suggest it is.
