A character simply driving a Mercedes car is one thing. But podcast ads are more akin to a movie character entirely interrupting the flow of the film to stop and talk for two minutes straight about how great Mercedes is and to recite a series of specifications about that model car and gush at what a low price it is.

It may not involve 1:1 muscle movements, but it still helps. Having those rough key positions in mind helps both ways. Even using a Svalboard, which is even further from a traditional keyboard, I felt that using a Colemak keyboard on my phone still helped me learn Colemak on my Svalboard.

That sounds like it was a standard QWERTY or something and they just used stickers to make it Dvorak.
Dont bother changing your smart phone keyboard too. It has 0% transferable skills or benefits and just so confusing.
How so? When I switched from QWERTY to Colemak, I felt like having the ability to switch my phone keyboard as well really helped ease the transition. Having different layouts in different places just seems like it would be confusing.
I refuse to start watching a show until it's finished. I get to watch the entire series at my own pace (no waiting a week between episodes or years between seasons), I avoid stewing in my opinions and reading public opinion during the hiatus and having that affect my enjoyment of the next season, and I don't have to worry about the abrupt emotional disturbance of a premature cancelation. The only downside is having to avoid spoilers and not being able to join in conversation with others who are actually watching it while it originally airs.

Something similar to this concept is great for enterprise environments. Imagine an employee at home using a basic thin client that just connects to a "mainframe" of a server that exists on premises and is running an individual VM or whatever for each employee's thin client. That is already a widespread concept. But for a home PC, with that VM being run on the OS manufacturer's servers? No, I don't think anybody should want to pay for that.
