It is demonstrably not. You are more familiar with it, and you loathe decimals, so you are of the personal opinion that it is. But that is all it is, your personal opinion about it.

It is pretty insane to use 2% of global energy for that piece of shit technology, almost exclusive developed only to give more billions to billionaires and nothing else, at a time when we desperately need to minimise energy consumption.

We know it is for stock manipulation. There is no other reason anybody but his cultists would voluntarily forcefeed themselves with Trump social media diarrhea, and for a fee even.

Except there likely won't be a lot of further breakthroughs if we burn down our planet faster than we already do.

This is all an expenditure of vast amounts of energy for literally no gain for anybody except a handful of billionaires and their corporations.

The parameters set for classifying that are basically non-existant. So no, they can't really do any of that. AI-bros will readily claim they can though, because it is like really important to them.

In most areas it can't. It can do a much worse job though, if that is what you are looking for.

It is not meant to solve anything. It is just yet another step on the way to collect data and control people on the internet.

Be prepared to remove it many times in the future. They basically turn it on every time you update, and at some point they will remove the option to even do that and make it mandatory.

They are both pressing issues.

This really misses the point. Humans are taking the majority of other species with us. It doesn't matter that we are not destroying the entire planet forever, of course life will go on, but triillions of animals and plants are going to suffer and die entirely because of our actions.

Considering he is not the only billionaire behaving like this, in fact I couldn't think of a single billionaire who doesn't act like this, then the behaviour seems to be some sort of disease transmitted by extreme wealth.

This isn't about who it helps though, this is strictly about usage.
