Twitter was a shit hole the second it launched.
It just became a bigger shit hole when the Nazi bought it.
Twitter has always sucked. It's almost entirely responsible for the reason we have such a need for immediate information. There is no patience anymore or even reputable journalism and reporting because being first is more important than being right.
The reason the media is as shit as it is now is almost directly causes by Twitter. It should have been shut down years ago.
Watching tv is beyond her tech savviness? It's actually easier. I just open website, click channel, watch tv.
That's quite a fair point. I've never had to hunt down other languages but I'm sure there are free services out there that do.
Let's be honest though. Nobody "absolute must pay".
I'm on rural Internet. I pay for 50mb down. That's all I get on satellite.
I'm watching the Jays game right now. It buffered once in the 2nd inning for 2 seconds and has been flawless since. Why would I pay $25-40 a month for the same quality?
There are pirate streaming services that are just as good as the paid ones, get everything the same day, and are completely free.
I have no problem giving my money to an honest streaming service. There are none left. It's all greed.
People demand others be perfect so they can live vicariously through them while their own life is a miserable mess. They refuse to have any form of introspective and self acknowledgement of themselves to make their own lives better, so they need others around them to be perfect, even if those others is a para-social relationship with a Youtuber.
I got banned for defending trans people, so there's that too.
