There's already legislation in the US to implement such a kill switch based on if the camera says the driver is drowsy or drunk. Considering the uniformity with which totalitarianism seems to be spreading, I assume something similar isn't out of the question.
I'm willing to bet there's an ignition interlock that would keep the car from starting if the camera is disabled.
Does the right wheel activate voice input on those models? Because if so, that's really bad UX.
That Forbes article is also wrong. Pressing the right scroll wheel activates voice command input and does nothing to FSD.

Somehow, we've entered a universe where every single chat client sucks flabby, unwashed ass. I can't think of a single one that works as well as AIM and pidgin did back in 2001, and that's absolutely pathetic.
The average Windows user will happily click "yes" on the UAC prompt when it pops up, so I don't think it would be that conspicuous to someone who isn't technical. I'm also pretty sure PolicyKit could get involved but I've never messed with it.
The last thing I want is AAA game studios supporting Linux due to a max exodus of Windows users, because that means they'll shoehorn their kernel anticheat into proton. Keep that shit away from my work machines. If the capability is included at all, then it will become a vector for nasty exploits.
