Ok, let's say a ceo objects to the boards instructions. They'll fire that CEO and hire another one that'll listen. The problem persists.
I think it's also that you're never going to hear about the rich people who choose to live a quiet life after making their fortune because they're too busy, you know, living quietly.
Why do people go after the execs when the board of directors is the ones making the shitty decisions?
You only get practice by doing, and doing is easier when you do it without screaming at yourself. Doing little bits counts as doing.
Discipline isn't about screaming at yourself to go do something. Try moving your fingers that way. I'd be concerned if it worked. It happens at a much lower level than that, which I can only describe as "just doing it," in much the same way that you "just" move your fingers.
I'm saying all this as someone with ADHD, by the way. Part of task avoidance is actually caused by that chunk of your brain screaming at itself to go do the thing, wasting energy that could have been spent on just doing the thing.

The Constitution guarantees the right to confront your accuser in court, which you can't do with an automated camera. It used to be a guaranteed win if you showed up at all because the camera itself couldn't hire a lawyer and present an argument.
