Good idea to restart, not shut down, about once a week if you’re using Windows.

lol, I had my Linux PC running for over a year continuously once, with no issues. Only had to reboot because a power outage lasted longer than my UPS could keep it running.

It only clears things out on a restart for some reason.

Because Microsoft, in its infinite wisdom, decided to turn 'shut down' into a sleep/hibernate mode instead, in order to deliver faster boot times. (Instead of, you know, actually making the OS faster and more efficient for faster boot times.)

Don't forget, it's also going to install a new, non-optional AI assistant in ... *rolls dice* ... Windows Media Player.

Windows users cannot understand the absolute absurdity of "I can't use my computer right now, it's updating."

Dale explained that Flock cameras had been instrumental in a To Catch a Predator style sting operation Irmo PD conducted. “During an internet crimes against children operation hosted by a department, 15 adults traveled to our community believing they were coming to meet children for sexual activity," Dale said. “Fourteen of those 15 suspects were not from our jurisdiction.”

This really doesn't explain how the cameras were useful for that.

Why would you need cameras for that?

Out of all these countries, the only one you have a problem with is Argentina?

If I contacted Criagslist support for some reason and Craig himself answered, I'd freak the fuck out.

In BG3, though, old dungeons are full of rotten food that's nearly worthless at shops and will make you temporarily sick if you eat it.

(Though it's still odd that vendors are willing to buy extremely rotten food for 1 currency each. Honestly, they shouldn't be willing to buy it at all.)

Don't patents expire after 20 years?

And isn't Pokemon's ball-capturing game mechanic well over 20 years old? I seem to remember it existing prior to 2006.

Imagine the sales they'd get if they ported older Game Boy/DS/3DS games to Android/ios phones and tablets.

People would love to play Nintendo games on PC.

And I already do, lol, for every Nintendo console/handheld up to the original Switch.

And I'm sure Switch 2 emulation won't be too far behind now.

The US school calendar was based on the realities of this.

No it wasn't. The US school calendar gives the biggest break times in the middle of summer and the middle of winter -- two times when farmers are the least busy. School is fully in session during a farmer's busiest times of spring planting and fall harvest.
