How'd you turn yours off? They use a protocol on the phones that are designed so the user is unable to turn them off. Do you use a custom OS? -Or do you mean that you shut your entire phone off?

That's why I just backed a kickstarter for an mp3 player and simultaneously purchased a retro handheld gaming console. I'm sick of using my phone for music, especially when VLC crashes so frequently. I don't need my phone when i go to exercise, I just need my music.

The manufacturers website lists a 1200mAh 3.8v LiPo battery with a runtime of 8-10hrs BAL, 10-12hrs PO if using wired headphones, and 6-8hrs if using wireless

I'm not actually sure what BAL and PO means
