I honestly am hating the amount of unnecessary information being collected by all these types of big corporations all over the place.
Who's idea is it to jam all this surveillance tech into a store just to see my buy a expired box of Twinkies?

What happened to the Metaverse?
This is excellent news, but I really wish this same logic will spill into the recent "stop killing video games" movement as well.
That whole fight was really about consumer protection as well, not just about video games IMO.
I want to be able to be easily repair and support products that are past their manufacture supported end of life. This goes for both physical products and digital products!
Soon some pedestrian is going to be run over at a intersection because a driver became distracted by the ad that popped up as soon as they came to a stop.
I though it was illegal to even do that. For example, parked at a read light and texting is definitely illegal. You need to pull over completely off the road to do that.
So I don't see how a car can show you ads at a read light or stop sign, this literally diverts your attention away from the intersection and surrounding area.
This is just a product of the age verification bullshit.
Some companies are asking to upload drivers licences, others are asking for banking info. All being marketed as a benefit, and getting a checkmark beside your name.
And here almost every week theres a email from some company getting hacked and personal info being accessed/stolen.
I had recently signed back for a service with a company I have not done business with for 20 years, they somehow still had my old account info and address details. I was and still am pissed.
A VPN won't do to much good for people that don't have internet, or a connection stable enough, or fast enough to download a 60gb game.
Not to mention unlimited plans is not something everyone has either.
I'm starting to see so much "get verified" bullshit on websites. All being marketed as something "exclusive" that unlocks more features.
For example, a online market place is pushing "get verified now" to reach more buyers.
Corruption everywhere I look, it's tiring.
That autocorrect drives me rabbid as well.
The big thing here is this printer is repairable, there no spyware or vendor lock in for specific ink cartridges.
This is hardware that if you buy you truly own.
Honestly for these reasons alone I am going to buy this.
Does the game allow cheats or the ability to spawn natural disasters? I want simcity levels of control.
