The EU doesn't actually care about user freedom, they just want as much surveillance as possible.

How does this happen though? I don't even pay a single subscription, I can't imagine just signing up for loads and just throwing my money away.

I haven't written anything long form since I left school about 15 years ago.

I haven't owned a laptop since smartphones and tablets took off. It's become a redundant form factor. Framework would be my go to choice if I ever did need one though.

They pretty much already do by making RHD cars.

Possibly. It's very much lose-lose for us. Both the UK government and EU seem to want to remove any shred of privacy from all areas of life.

7zip is better anyway I don't understand why people still use WinRar. Then again I don't understand why people still use Windows either.

A disc with a licence on it is better than a single use download code.

Unfortunately A LOT of less tech-savvy people absolutely love AI chatbots. All of my girlfriend's family regularly ask ChatGPT random shit multiple times a day. Many of my friends have taken to using ChatGPT for every single online enquiry. It's a worrying world.

I refuse to write any sort of cover letter for any job application. It's a job. I want it for the money. I'm not going to wrote some bullshit about how I've always dreamed of working for said company and it's the perfect role for me. In an ideal world I wouldn't be working at all.
