The battery? Was that the first discovered jailbreak hack? Because by the time I got a PSP (~2012), the jailbreak was "copy this program to your card and run it on the psp", which was about as idiot-proof as a jailbreak can get.

On the other hand, I did jailbreak my nintendo switch with the shorting on the right joycon using a bent paperclip. Lucky I didn't brick it, though until it booted back into life, I was sweating!

Really? I don't see the reptilian scales or souless, robotic eyes

Anyone who didn't get in on the first hour and sold 3 hours later, tops, was bound to lose money.

Sometimes I feel like believing the conspiracy theory that the heads at mozilla are google flunkies, who only keep the browser around so google can't be called out for monopolistic behavior with Chrome. Firefox is the only alternative to V8, the Chrome web engine. Safari doesn't really count

Then went back with not trying to target high end with the original switch, with everyone complaining that it was equivalent to a mid phone of the year

As someone with a bit over 800h in Palworld, fuck Nintendo and their shitty attitude to Pocket Pair.

I like Nintendo's games, but I never in my life bought one legally, since they completely pulled out of Brazil after the N64. NES and SNES were gray market items, while the GameCube nobody really cared about, since the PS2 completely dominated the market. The Wii was similarly a gray market item.

Unfortunately, there's about no factorio in palworld, base building and maintenance is pretty simple and straightforward. The slaverycute is definitely there, tho.

Nintendo was the only company that ditched the loss-leader thing after burning itself with the N64 and GameCube.

It’s one of the biggest reasons Xbox is on life support right now.

The series of terrible decisions began with the X1: "You can watch netflix! You can watch youtube! You can't share or sell your games! Kinect is mandatory for us to monitor you 24/7!" - M$ made the perfect advertisement for the PS4. Their complete lack of creativity with console naming didn't help either, it was worse than Wii -> WiiU. Xbox One ~> Xbox One S/X -> Xbox Series S/X

Then there's M$ buying several big studios and having no fucking clue how to best use them. Everyone who saw how they treated Rare knew that was coming.

Alos, because they're a corporate first company, everything that "works" for M$Office ends up being applied to everything else. No more ownership, only subscription renting! Going all in on subs (xbox live) meant they had to widen their market, so increasing reach to PC and other consoles was the best option for increasing subscribers. That they didn't care at all about how that'd hurt their own fucking specialized gaming hardware was no surprise.

What I'm actually surprised is that they haven't rammed Copilot into any of their games or Xbox subscriptions yet.

I did have to verify integrity of the game more than once, so kinda like reinstalling rather than uninstalling

I don't play many UE5 games, never had problems with Pseudoregalia or Outpost Infinity Siege, the latter being really heavy on resources.

I also thought Palworld was still on UE4? What's the fix
