The concept of IP is theft to begin with. No technology arises from a vacuum, it is all built on the collective efforts of humanity through the ages. The fact that some billionaire can claim ownership over an idea is a moral failing of capitalism.

Why is China your enemy?
Consider how rapidly they have been built, and the capitalists’ plans to make many many more. Now also consider the state of the planet’s ecology and the already terrible effects of climate change.
To me, it’s incomprehensible that regular people haven’t already revolted against the death spiral the capitalist class has put us on.
They like it because it virtue signals that they are a wealthy fascist, and love to “own the libs.”
Online forums definitely have the power to shape discourse. The resurrection of socialism is proof of that. Before the internet, socialism was a dirty word in America, and now any political thread will have socialists in it.
It’s not that one person makes a difference, it’s the constant exposure achieved by many people posting similar arguments.

Our natural state is to exist in collective communities. It is only capitalism that has atomized us into individuals competing against everyone else.
As a member of the working class, I don't particularly mind if a socialist country reaps the rewards of my work. Also, it's not like IP is a zero-sum game, and that an idea put into use in one place means it can't be put into use in another. It's like ancient Babylon getting mad at Sumeria for putting seeds into the ground.
