I think they don't really care actually. Sure, they could afford to defend the people who voluntarily spent 100+ hours to build a repository using their tools but what's in it for them?

Why isn’t ~~GitHub~~ Microsoft telling them to get fucked?

They don't wanna be sued. Emulators are technically legal but Nintendo likes to abuse every loophole in the book to argue otherwise.

i just would prefer if humanity didnt go out / lose all potential because of few vile beings.

I'd prefer that as well but I feel so defenceless in the matter

I think if they could fully comprehend what was happening right now, they wouldn't do it.

But i dont think we should let them.

Honestly, I don't think we can really stop them. The only people they have to answer to are politicians/government officials and those can be bribed. Sure, we can protest data centres and stuff but even if we're victorious in stopping one from getting built in place a, there's always a place b.

Hey, at least we'll be able to make one last upgrade before we die.

They don't realise that it's gonna be their own funeral, too. Sure, Elmo and Bebos will most likely die of old age (or drug abuse) in a few decades but many of those cunts are under 30, and they absolutely will have to deal with the apocalyptic consequences of their actions.

And it's not just them at this point; thousands of politicians and property developers are in it as well. I don't think most of them are trying to do harm, they're just blinded by greed.

Fixing public transport would solve so many of Germany's issues to be fair

It's a fun idea but not that useful outside of giving news outlets something quirky to report on

I really hope this will catch on for once, it could be a great solution for all those people who insist they have to do domestic flights... (in countries like Germany which aren't that big comparatively speaking)

In my company we already use a standardised Windows 11 Enterprise image, so the Windows 11 Pro licences that come with most PCs are of absolutely no use to us (apart from when we resell them, and even then you can get OEM keys legally for a couple of Euros so they're not worth much).

I’d rather keep my Pacer thanks
