He himself claims that you can't really place their politics on the scale, because he picks ideas from both sides. Yeah, their politics are messy, but they have very fascist and white-supremacist overtones, and they gladly work with nazis. So I don't personally care for trivial bickering about definitions here.

Dude basically read Ayn Rand and thought "whoa yeah, that's the shit", when in actuality it's just shit.

Honestly, it's like when right-wingers want everything privatised and scream that taxation is theft, but they're totally happy with having taxes pay for their stuff. Just because they like to benefit from socialist policies doesn't mean that they're socialists.

English isn’t my native tongue, and that’s not an insult, but that shouldn’t be very hard. The word is self-explanatory.

Scientists have encountered a species in the Amazon heretofore believed to be extinct.

I can relate to this so hard. I've no idea how many books I read as a kid, but often several per week. I still love reading, obviously, it's just that I don't dedicate as much time to do it anymore. Been trying to pick the habit back up though.

One of the quirks I developed as a result of my reading habits, is that I'd use very dated terms when speaking my native tongue. I have so many early-1900s insults in my head, it's almost unfortunate I never get to use them.

I'd say probably best to not trust apps at all. You could roll your own Matrix instance for example, but then who's to say that the client applications don't comply?

Trust no one, I suppose.

As per Wikipedia on the topic.

As of July 1, 2019, the monthly salary is of €8,932.86, or just over €107,000 per year.[15] MEPs also receive a general expenditure allowance of €4,563 per month.[15]

If I can be called in from vacation for €43k a year, these cunts can come in to vote for the fucking future of democracy for €107k.

Is it right to interrupt vacations? No. Does it matter in this case? Also the fuck no. The thing happened! They weren't there! If they want better rights or whatever I guess they should fucking unionise or whatever. Sitting out on a vote of this magnitude is beyond reprehensible.

I was thinking that this sounds good at face value, but it could easily just be a throwaway publicity stunt.

Let's just make up a scenario, purely for illustrative purposes. Say our baseline is in 2022, customers paid ~100 a month in electricity. Then over the years, data centres came along, they struck deals, and individual consumers electricity bills went up to 200, which we are at today.

Then, NicePowerCompanyLLC decides to hike the prices for the datacentres by 30%, and reduce the prices by 1.3% for the residentials. That's still 98.7% higher than the baseline before the datacentres. That's to say, they data centres are still having their costs subsidized by regular people.

Ergo, if the prices already got hiked because of the datacentres, this tiny concession is a piss in the ocean. It's just a publicity stunt to make themselves look better while people are still buckling under the exploitation of having to carry billion dollar industries on their backs, with no real benefit to themselves.

Fuck the labour purchasers. The best time to unionise was decades ago, the next best time is right now. Fucking unionise now.

You can change the screen on my t480. Lots of things can be changed on it. It also cost less than $200.

The advertisers.

Örebropartiet espouses assimilation, not integration. They push for remigration of people who don't assimilate.

That's worked out wonderfully under our current Tidelagsregering, no? We're sending home children who we've raised, educated, and given jobs, to countries they've never been to, because their parents fucked up, be that by accident or on purpose. Sins of the father, and all that.

I'm not disagreeing with tjänstemannaansvar, or reduced salaries for politicians, or free dental care. Those are all low-hanging fruit though, obvious to any working class person. The stickler is the extremely racist rhetoric that comes with it.

That isn't a difference of opinion, it's plain bigotry and dehumanisation.

Damn. I can't recall when they didn't make the bar last.

I mean it is funny - the incest bit I mean - but it kind of epitomises why I don't really follow politics anymore. Our leaders aren't serious, and for the past few decades it's devolved into a spectacle. It stresses me the fuck out.

The past week I've lived with my windows wide open, so I need to take particular care that I don't just... tip out of them. Our idiot politics don't help in that regard.

Their website literally doesn't have a party programme. From the looks of it they get their votes by spreading propaganda on facebook, which I guess is easy given the donation of five mil. Bananas.
