Drones are an effective tool on an open battle field; but they operate under wildly different conditions. Wide open spaces and short contacts (find target, ram to explode. They don't have to loiter and maintain that contact).

A pepper spray equipped drone in a school??? Tight enclosed spaces with halls and doorways (that are usually closed) you've got to navigate. Quad copters are loud, and that'd be amplified by that enclosed space. Without sufficient distance to keep out of reach they'd be an easy target to take down by the assailant. To use the spray, you'd have to get near, deploy it, and escape before being struck down; giving the spray to the assailant to harvest and use.

AND they've only got 8min of flight time.

Interesting to see how this goes.

  • he didn't wipe it, the CBP officer did
  • what evidence? Phones empty.
  • um repeatedly denied a lawyer? Toss the case.

What kind of a question is that; obviously they're picked fresh off of jelly bean stalks. Which you get by covering a bean stalk in jelly of course - jelly flavor determines bean flavor. (I really don't recommend KY jelly....)

Russia's been actively trying to push their own Telegram replacement called 'Max', while throttling access to Telegram to discourage it's use.

They have outright blocked Telegram before (2018) because they refused to hand over users encryption keys to the FSB. That sparked outrage and protests because of it's widespread use, and was ultimately overturned because of it's heavy use even within the Russian government.

The more recent throttling has been causing huge struggles within their own military units because they've become dependent on it, as well as struggles with their ability to push propaganda outside Russia.

Youtube, 13:35 for Telegram+Discord.

A lot of ccTLDs get used outside their countries because they're cheap too.

I've got a .pw name (Palau) because it was only 11$.

Specifically; this article is talking about the devices that convert DC power generated by solar panels into AC power that's supplied to homes.

Seems they're mostly talking about home installations, but this could effect larger commercial setups too.
