¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I had this discussiom before. It always ends in circling around unchanging positions and repitition of arguments brought up before. I don't want to play that game. Make of that whatever the fuck you want, but leave it be for fucks sake and stop trying to make me argue again. It won't work.

Because I'm tired of talking to a wall.

No, your original comment was correct, OP left out the key detail that this image is always recontextualized by added text. That recontextualization creates the meme.

I would not agree. If I download a post, the title is not downloaded with it, is it?

Richard Dawkins himself has renounced the definition he set. Go read a book.

Plus he was always critizised for that definition by his peers, for example by Scott Atran showed through cognitive psychological studies that ideas do not regularly replicate by imitation and that ideas do not develope like genes.

And on top of that, Dawkins is a dickhead. And a dumb one falling into an AI psychosis.

Counterpoint to your counterpoint: that image is a meme template, an image used to create memes through adding text that recontextualizes the image.

If I understood correctly, the UK was hit by the edges of the dome which can bring some quite turbulent weather.

I will not have that discussion again.

I stumbled upon a new wikipedia article about this heatwave that mentioned Sweden recorded a new all time temperature high (like most areast hit by the heatwave). In Germany (where I live) we just had three consecutive days with each recording a new all time high, all above 41°C. Sweden's new record high is 32,sth°C. I know where I wanna live during future summers.

No, this is c/memes. But a screenshot of a comment without any recontextualization isn't a meme.
