People in the rest of the world will also be affected for at least two reasons:

  1. Pension funds throughout the world is invested in US big tech, and if these companies fall in value, so will their pensions.
  2. A financial crisis caused by US big tech could cause a US recession which will also damage the economies of the rest of the world.

Every other carmaker will do the same if it works, because there is strong competition in the market for cars. For ethics around workers being replaced by technology, changing the law to protect workers is the only way.

Yes but one of the most authoritarian and anti human rights states holding god knows what powers over just about everyone. Not really any better is it?

I don’t like these giant cars either. But if we use “fascist“ for everything that is harmful the word end up losing its meaning and power because fascism and giant cars are not in the same ball park of harm.
