My point is highlighting that this action is outside of any established set of laws. There is literally no regulation around what a company can do to keep information private.

Take-Two wants more than just names and is asking for MachineGuid and MSA device identifiers, registration and last-login IP addresses, phone numbers, linked Google and Xbox connections, and OneDrive contents for every account that communicated in three named Discord servers since June 1.
No government is requesting this and nothing can stop this massive transfer of personal information. This is a company mad at facing contempt for their anti-consumer practices and exercising extra-legal methods to find the justice they will buy against the people they deem responsible.
Take-Two is not stopping at who is responsible either. They are scrapping ALL records of everyone who has ever touched those Discord servers. And there is nothing innocent people can do to appeal or stop this.

Zuck uses Superintelligence and AI interchangeably like he doesn't understand the difference between them. Everything he says is a neat idea in a vacuum but disconnected from reality and with no path to this idea except dreaming.
He also imagines a world with AGI while trying to sell the worst chatbot on the market. Absolute clown show.
Any information was available but its veracity was always questioned. And this was before Wikipedia too so the only reliable sources were Encarta and Britannica unless you had a very cutting edge library.

John Wick opened my eyes. Leguizamo has really shown off his ability to subtly add to scenes. He is consistently one of the most impressive actors in movies he has a role and stands out despite the screen time he has.

Rockstar and Take-Two are performing the investigation themselves, not law enforcement. This is corporate vigilantism where the business finds someone they think is guilty and hands them over to the police to enact the justice the business advocates. The police should be investigating and requesting records, NOT the business.
