Steals an idea to get rich. Buys companies to produce ideas for him but still fails somehow. Gets called innovative genius because he has lots of money? I guess all he is that he was opportunistic and was able to realize a good idea (perhaps by chance) a long time ago and stole it. Now he is constantly failing on choosing good ideas but because he is stinking rich he is somehow able to keep himself afloat.

how much hype are you going to milk from something that could have been stopped with ctrl c

[–] Avicenna@programming.dev 10 points 1 month ago (1 children)

yes but...money please?

[–] Avicenna@programming.dev 1 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Seems like you really did not even try to process any of the replies (regarding bans in instances vs an app) made by me or anyone else. So what even is the point of discussing this when you make up arguments. And worse now you are on a full rinse and repeat of "I am rubber you are glue". That is when it is time to call it a day, feel free to swear after me if it makes you feel superior lol.

You are the one who entered the topic with "I know how fediverse works you don't know shit attitude" lol. And when that didn't work you started swearing continously. You have the same emotional fragility of a five year old and should reslly to work on that buddy. It is what gets people like AdmiralPatrick where they got to. Go on call that a projection too.

Wow what will be your next reply, "I'm rubber, you're glue; whatever you say bounces off me and sticks to you"?

I am merely making an observation based on these

for being an ignorant twat but okay it'll do.

You really don't know do you?

you are just a bit of a fuckwit right?

but be careful inferring your own bullshit

but if the feeling of fake internet superiority makes you sleep better at night you do you lol.

you definitely curse alot and have a very fragile ego for someone who never subscribed to the drama lol

I am getting more and more convinced that you are at the very least soul mates with AdmiralPatrick

Wow you are taking this discussion really personally, are you per chance one of AdmiralPatricks alt accounts? If not consider applying for the role.

You make alot of deductions about me benefitting from such bans when you seem to be the only side in this conversation who can't keep a cool head and try really hard (and rather immaturely) to project a vacous image of superiority. This is exactly the kind of mentality that curates a rage ban list lol.

Someone with a very distorted view of toxicity calls it the list of toxic people doesn't make it in reality not politically motivated. It has the same rationale as a kid getting angry and starting to throw a tantrum after losing a game in the playground. I think this person's farewell message with an embedded ddos attack pretty much sums it up.

Apps shouldn't assume the role of all seeing moderators for the whole fediverse. I don't think I will again comment on difference of ban lists for instances vs apps, let alone an extensive one hand curated by a single individual.

I don't even see what your comment about awesomeness eludes to. You seem to be trying to point at a particular message without actually doing it. Care to elaborate?

I am not advocating for ban lists

It wasn't politically motivated tho it was 'toxic people'

I don't know, you seem rather supportive for someone who doesn't advocate it.

In any case there is a world of difference between ban lists of instances and ban lists of an app. The latter is something one step shy of a centralized ban list for fediverse. Also ban lists in instances at least try to revolve around a set of rules (whether or not they succeed is another issue and will change from instance to instance), where as this one is just single person's "don't like this person because he didn't agree with me" list imposed without any information or whatsoever on end users. It also doesn't help with the optics that it looks hand curated...

toxic=people who don't agree with me isn't a very mature approach though is it? In my opinion what is fundamental to the fediverse is being able to discuss with people you don't completely agree with. It is the more centralized social media platforms that repeatedly push content you like so that you get addicted to your echo chambers. If you don't like your ideas being challenged I would suggest such places.
