I don't know about buying, but the ones I have seen basically hold the book open at a 45 degreeish angle, to not damage the spine. Then you press the pages with a 45 degree set of glass plates. The actual "scan" is a camera of some kind that slodes back.and forth between the two halves on a mount.

Well, there was that one time.in Germany. I wonder if there ate any other similarities with current US "leadership" and those guys.
It can't.
Also, and I have no idea what race this person is, but facial recognition tents to be even worse when it comes to minority groups, especially black people. Because its more often created and tested by white or asian dudes.
Which has absolutely terrible implications when you consider it gets used for things like Flock, for crimes, which already have a racism problem skewed against black people.
They don't care about the constitution man.
Trump will do an executive order, it'll get tonthe Supreme.Cpurt, and they will just kneelnon it for "time to think about it." And that will be it, its "the law" now.
YOU can't. I imagine large corpos have a better portal than you or I.
The Steam Reviews are amusing. Like one positive review is like "Oh, and there is a secret Zombie Survival mode!"
And a negative review is all "There is a lame pointless Zombie Survival Mode."
Assholes like this have zero, ZERO, concept of why creative work is popular. Even "corporate created" work. On an extreme end, as far as they are concerned they could turn The SIMS into "Saudi Life Simulator" and people will still buy it because "Its The SIMS."
They don't see the creativity or the why, they just see "popular brand".
There are plenty of other examples of this out there.
This does not seem to work on my Motorola Android.
Don't forgrt it just autoplays shit too.
I actually try to shove the USB into the HDMI on my work laptop by mistake all the damn time because they are right next to eachother.
That was what I was thinking. Whatever plugs into this is larger or something. It also has those extra funny ports up top.
Honestly, its probably pretty common. People ask about it at garage sales all the time.
