Interesting. I heard Apple usually avoided layoffs because they knew it is harder and more expensive to rehire and retrain new employees. Wonder if that’s changing with the new ceo or if it only hit certain areas in the company.
So far mostly hitting the AR headset team (Apple Vision) from what I’ve been reading. Which makes me wonder if the reported Apple Glasses project has been scrapped or scaled back (we can only hope).
They’re going to imbed the cameras in AirPods.
Maybe the new guy is coming and decided to kill off stupid projects of which Apple have many.
