Wasn't a huge fan of the move to 3D animation but it wasn't all bad. Movies like The Mitchell's VS The Machines and Klaus show that 3D animation can have a ton of soul and style. Think the problem is most corporate studios just failing at making good stories / art most of the time in pursuit of the lowest common denominator.

That said, fuck AI slop. Soulless by definition

Klaus was digital 2D! It was so GORGEOUS that movie.

Yep. Critterz is an all AI series or movie or some shit. It's as terrible as it sounds.

yeah for real. if you watch AI shows you should at least watch "fruit love island" on tiktok.

IMO everything in the future will be generated. As long as it's "good enough", you can generate pig slop for the masses. 80% of people do not care about quality in what they watch. As long as you can eliminate cost with generated pig slop, megacorporations will do that instead of making a real movie.

Elemental and Onward are beautifully emotional movies and two of my favourite of all time
