A name I havent heard in a long time...
I'm sure there are some young folks here who doesnt even know what was that
Google+ made ~11 year old me feel like a badass hacker tech enthusiast for using a niche social media platform
I thought I was cool
We were though
I just remember that srupid app being installed on my phones and never opening it or caring about it
It was so much better than Facebook, but if course Google mismanaged it to death.
Well it died
I would love a way to block a creator or sponsor

I just want to turn off shorts completely. I know there are extensions that kind of do it, but they all cause problems for me while browsing videos.
If you have ublock origin, you can make them functionally disappear:

Actually made YouTube a non-cancerous experience for me
I'll give that a try, but I'm not expecting it to work. All the other solutions have cause the feed to "rubber band" around randomly as I scroll when the shorts are dynamically removed from the feed.
