Was so easy to swap over to tidal. (not perfect, I know).
I've even gotten a family plan and offered family what amounts to free service.
I've sent tutorials on converting their libraries using a super easy service that's still less $ than just continuing to pay for spotify.
They are still on spotify because it's easier than giving a shit.
I made that mistake with Spotify, got a family plan years ago and hooked my sister + nephew + niece up. Now if I want to cancel it and they lose their playlists, they'll be all pissy.
Qobuz will transfer all of their playlists for free in just 2 clicks, it's part of their onboarding. And their music will suddenly be higher quality to boot, and the artists actually get paid for streams. Just letting you know your options.
I've tried to get so many people to switch to Qobuz. "but my super obscure metal band that nobody's heard of isn't on there." 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Fuck Spotify.
Good chances their super obscure metal band is on Bandcamp
But all the japanese kpop and jrock is not. And local bands from countries other than mainstream ones.
