I'm a atheist, raised catholic.
I agree religion is a bullshit method of control. But โ Repenting isn't so easy, it's not only saying you're sorry for everything. You've gotta repent so hard you feel it in your soul, like it's gotta be physically and spiritually painful. You have to make God Himself believe you. And you have to be willing to accept any just punishment in return.
