You know what sucks most about this? We could literally fix many of society’s issues by focussing on education. Hunger, crime, inequality, poverty, climate, population, everything. But that fucks the goals of billionaires, so we won’t.

The whole point of going after kids is:

  • hook them young so they never form other habits
  • make them weaker (stupider, poorer, less healthy) so they can’t defend themselves and have to buy your shit

Facebook bought Instagram because it was more popular with young people over grandma got on Facebook.

Having more educated people in society means less people willing to work their life off for little less than a dime.

This leaves less room for profit and increases production costs for just about everything.

“Education awakens individuals to the fact that our current system is exploitative”

I don't believe Richard intended a different message

That's a different way of saying it, yeah

It's weird living in a super majority Blue state, you'd think education would be a priority for Democrat legislature but apparently they haven't fully funded it since like 2019 and that was only because of a court order.

Btw incumbents for WA state legislature are anticipated to win by landslide once again.
