The data centers aren't for common man LLMs.
They're for the police state.

That's what I've been telling people. Do you think they want to build a 1000 acre center just so they can plug another ai into Microslop Teams? No, its to run, parse, and manage all of the data gathered from cameras, phones, texts, everything, and build a navigable image of who they think you are.
Enslavement happened with the iPhone. Then when android got good and cheap. Then with tablets when they got cheap. Now we're here and Ai is getting good, not cheap, never will be cheap but it's getting good.
Enslavement became easier with television. Fox Noise has done plenty of damage for their shareholders.
If you really want to go back it started with the encryption. If you want to go back even further it would of been the printing press.
But I think most of what you guys are refering to came from ww1/2 with encryption machines. The US essentially put back doors in them. The whole atomic bomb race enshrouded us in this weird military ranking secrecy which later led to the CIA/OSS. People like Robert Maxwell envisioned computer systems to monitor people and data bases. Also much of the work that the natzis where doing with weird medical science which got folded in too due to operation paper clip. Essentially we continued natzi style medical experiments on vagrants, Black's, prostitutes, and the people who where mentally unstable.
Weird eugenics natzi paper clip scientists, and chemical scientists where like the Ai back then. We had eugenics programs where we would test "mind control" in public universities. Or do things like raise a baby with a monkey as if he was a monkey just to see what would happen. Many cults, serial killers, and rapists actually came from some of these "Mk ultra" experiments. Some of which even had CIA connections like the finders, Unabomber, or Charles manson. So in this evil science race to beat Russia we create thousands of dangerous drugs, and chemicals, and test them on unsuspecting people, all ran or sponsered by ex natzi eugencisists. Not to mention pretty much all the satanic panic cults where directly CIA/Mk ultra, as if they where testing the whole "sleeper cells" concept you heard a lot of back then on fictional TV.
Thats when you start getting the news cycle, with satanic panic, and the 24/7 Vietnam news cycle. From there it transitioned to the modern fox news style cycles we get today. And that got further expanded with inqtel investing in companies like Facebook to make manipulative news feeds, and companies who are making dark patterns and these slot machines esque mechanics that hijack your basic thinking. Its like a continuation of Robert Maxwells vision.
