When one falls down, they just put up another one, and bill the city for the replacement. Guess who inevitably pays for it?
If the city can't afford it, maybe they should cancel the contract on grounds the company does shoddy work and can't keep cameras up.
That would be ideal. But unfortunately, if the city can't afford it...they'll just raise your taxes. Either way, your tax dollars are funding all of this shit.
(and why am I getting down voted for pointing this out?)
When cities can't afford other things they usually cut them to save money.
I'm not sure Flock is the exception. Might be, though. The US is a shithole.
