You're getting downvoted because you're presenting the idea that higher taxes are a consideration when people are dismantling prominent tools the police state is using to disappear people into concentration camps.
Eh. I'm actually presenting the idea that breaking these cameras is just putting more of your own hard-earned tax money in Flock's pocket. Every camera you break is another sale for them.
This really just reminds me of back when Conservatives were going out and smashing Bud Lite by the case, in protest over them doing an ad with a trans person. I just kept thinking, "What does Bud Lite care if you smash their beer? As long as you keep buying it, you can do whatever you want with it...and Bud Lite's bottom line remains unchanged."
This feels just like that. I mean, I get it...it's cathartic. But, you aren't hurting Flock. You're just spending your own money over and over again, and they're making money off of you that they wouldn't have made otherwise.
... I'm sorry, let me try rephrasing that:
The point isn't "to put flock out of business", thats a good goal but kinda long-term for right now. The short-term goal is to "take out the cameras they're using to hunt our friends."
Fair enough.
That's an understatement
You know we get that you're repeating the same tired point that's not really relevant to the reasons why it's being done, right?
The people who are cutting down the cameras care fuck all about the local cost, they care about the cameras being disabled to prevent shit like someone being pulled over because they crossed the state line and back like This example I saw on 404Media
